Nitish Kumar resigns, set for record 10th oath as Chief Minister tomorrow

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been unanimously elected as the leader of the National Democratic Alliance after BJP's Samrat Chaudhary recommended his name in the recently-concluded NDA meeting. On Thursday morning, Nitish is set to take oath for an unprecedented 10th time after the NDA swept the state’s Assembly polls.

Earlier in the day, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) opted for continuity by electing Samrat Chaudhary as the leader of its legislative party and Vijay Kumar Sinha as his deputy, with both continuing as Deputy Chief Ministers.
